The Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati (ESCC) is seeking interested women and men to join its volunteer corps of consultants. Becoming an Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati (ESCC) volunteer provides you with an opportunity to continue to use the management skills that you have developed during your working career. Only now you can put that experience to work serving local nonprofits, organizations that are vital to our region.
ESCC is a mission-driven nonprofit that applies the insights and skills of volunteer executives to the management and organizational challenges that nonprofits face. Our consultants have assisted many nonprofit organizations in increasing operational and organizational effectiveness in order to deliver valuable programs and services.
ESCC works with the nonprofit community throughout the Greater Cincinnati Tri-state area including: Butler, Clermont Hamilton, and Warren Counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Kenton Counties in Northern Kentucky; and parts of Dearborn and Franklin Counties in Indiana.
What would I do?
Consulting with Clients:
ESCC volunteers advise clients on specific management issues within their areas of expertise. As an objective third party, you are in an excellent position to help an organization identify problems and recommend solutions. You may also assist in planning, reviewing internal processes and materials, or in training or mentoring staff or board members. Volunteers work as members of a project team under the direction of an experienced Project Manager.
Internal Operations:
ESCC is, itself, a nonprofit organization, that needs extensive volunteer support. ESCC volunteers help in chairing various committees, recruiting other volunteers, developing and/or presenting in-house training, planning strategies for marketing, helping manage projects, raising funds, and many other activities as well.
